Over Weight, Out of Shape and Weary
Those are the words that describe the masses of modern society. And it is not limited to the United States. This is becoming a global matter and one of great concern as the rates of aches, pains, illness and disease escalate to unprecedented levels.
As the food supply has been refined and processed, as genetically modified foods have stormed the scene and fast, convenient foods become the norm, the health and wellness of society has deteriorated. Even the healthiest societies of the world are suffering as the industrial age of food advances.
Sadly, it is all held together by the synthetic threads of prescription medications which are far removed from nature’s way of assuring health and wellness.
Making matters worse, the technological age has reduced the need for manual labour. Most jobs today are performed at a desk, in front of a computer with little to no physical activity during the course of the day except a trip to the fast food joint for a quick bite.
As if all of that were not enough, the pressures of society, the demands of career, the drive for financial strength and professional influence, the perceived need for more material possessions is making most of us mad as we run like hamsters on a wheel to keep up. The end result is utter exhaustion, fatigue, weariness. Though our bodies have performed little quality movement, there is no energy left. The well is dry and we surrender to fatigue further driving ourselves deeper into pit of obesity, weakness, weariness and yes, illness.
There is a Solution
You can lose weight naturally. You can ease the stress and discover natural healing. This past week, I launched Melt the Fat 90 Day Challenge . This is a fairly typical weight loss challenge. Participants commit to 90 days of healthy eating and fitness with the shared goal to lose weight naturally. Each week, participants post their percentage of weight lost, add a journal entry and help encourage and inspire one another forward to the goal line. Experts are also present each day to guide participants successfully through the journey.
